International Geography Olympiad’s opening ceremony
Teams from 27 countries have come to take part in the Olympiad. They comprise 106 talented high school students, who will contend for the title of the best young geographer in the world. Then, there are 58 adults, including teachers, team leaders, observers and important guests. The teams are accommodated in the local Sacred Heart School. It is in the school premises where all the tests, except for the field work test, will be held. The opening ceremony of the International Geography Olympiad in Taiwan was on July 29.
