International Geographical Festival, Saint-Die-Des-Vosgues, France, October 7-10, 2010
In 2010 the International Geographical Festival will be dedicated to the topic “Rational forest management: from natural resources to forest industry”.
Each year the organizational committee selects the country – the guest of honor. In 2010 Russia will be such a guest, represented by the Russian Geographical Society.
The Society will present a number of scientific papers and video materials, open up the exhibit dedicated to the history of the Society and the exhibit “Forests of Russia”.
Russian folklore groups will also participate.
