The Executive Director’s Office, founded in November 2009, is one of the management bodies of the Russian Geographical Society.

The Executive Director’s Office is led by the Executive Director, appointed by the President of the Society for a two-year term.

At present, the Executive Director of the Russian Geographical Society is Ms. Larisa E. Ovchinnikova.

The Executive Director’s Office is located in Moscow, in one of the buildings constructed in 1882 for the Moscow Merchant Society based on the draft by a famous architect Mr. B. Freidenberg.
